Hello can anybody help?
I'm finished a course of radiotherapy - yay to that! I never felt a thing at 1st as I've had a mastectomy and am numb but a week later and i am blistered under my arm and right over my chest- I don't want to be a pain and waste the nurses time because let's face Ive been there far too often this year for my liking. if anyone knows the best solution - my friend suggested savlon but it nips.
It's keeping me awake n driving me mad!!!

Hi Kerry I 2 have had a mastectomy and radiotherapy so I know just how you feel.
If I were you I'd get back to the nurse and ask for some cream , you are not being a pain and they are more than happy to treat you. Also you really don't want to get an infection. The cream will help and heal letting you get a good sleep.
Thanks sarsfield, my appointment isn't until next Thursday- I'm hoping I'm on the mend by then. I'll see if the chemist will have it. It's like the microwave effect-still cooking after it's pinged! ;0)
