Smart syndrome

Less than one minute read time.

My son had a cancerous brain tumour 18 years ago, he had chemotherapy then radiotherapy after having most of his Pinoblastoma tumour removed.  Then 13 years ago he was diagnosed with SMART syndrome, which is a side affect of radiotherapy to the brain. It started with, headaches, seizures and stroke like symptoms which improved in time. But now it's intense he's had loads of strokes which is leaving him more disabled everytime it happens. Anyone else feel that this is happening to there loved ones. My son has just turned 30 years old and he's lost most of his childhood and so much more. Would be great to connect with others who may have suffered similar issues.
