Travel insurance

I was hoping to go to the Caribbean on a cruise in February 2024. The cost of insurance has left me sad that my travelling days might be over. Any advice on getting travel insurance and companies to avoid please.

I used to be a travel agent and due to bringing up my family I had to wait to travel worldwide until now.

Hello Golden butterfly I have just noticed your post. A couple of thing that may get you on your travels:

* How about joining the Travel insurance forum for cancer patients To join, just click on the link I have provided and once the page opens up just click on "join" on the black banner at the bottom of the page. There's plenty of good advice there.

* We are all different and most insurance firms ask you to fill out an online form. I found it quicker to ring my company of choice and speak to a human being - the quote was much lower than I aticipaated.
