Just to say I have deleted any 'personal' pictures from my profile, the reason being....my dad would have a nanny roonie if he knew I had put them there in the first place! eeeeekkkkkk!
I haven't even told him I have been posting here as he is still finding it hard to deal with. I guess it was a bit insensitive of me to put blogs and pictures on without his knowledge, but it was MY way of dealing with HIS cancer. So, sorry for that, and I would love still to post and hear your stories etc......perhaps through time my dad will be able to listen to others also but for now he is just wanting to 'withdraw' into himself and not talk about it.

Hi purple, I can understand what you say about your dad being unable to deal with his situation. You however, need to be able to talk about it too. This is an ideal place to do that. You are amongst friends who are still annonymous and therefore it is easier to pour out your worries, fears and anxieties whilst knowing that love, support and understanding will come flooding back to you. Positive ElectronTomography (PET) is used to plot the progression or regression of tumours and any spread that may or may not have occurred. Why not try the chat room. You get live support in there.
