    Well, it's about time I updated. Of course, I've only been home for a few days from the last hospital admission so I won't beat myself up too much on being lax on the ole blogging front . . I spent the festive season on the ward. Everyone apart from the real sickies went home ~ and by the fact that I was still there, I guess I was one of the very ill patients.     Today I went to the community hospital to see the Chest Consultant about this shortness of breath thang. One great thing about the little hospital is that there is no waiting around for Xrays etc ~ I was pictured, seen by the doc, had a syringe full of fluid removed and out again all within half an hour! If I was trying to see him at the clinic in Plymouth, I'd probably still be there right now . . . But, the bad news…

    Things are sore. My scar tissue is tight from all the coughing, my arm is feeling heavy, and the cording in my armpit is twinging. And I'm putting on weight around my middle that I really dislike! So what can a girl do to make herself feel better?     I've just managed to spill very hot water over my hand. And to make matters worse, it's the side where the lymph nodes were taken. *sigh* So here I am, slathered in fresh aloe juice (that poor plant, but as one friend mentioned, atleast it is earning its keep!) and trying to type using only two fingers of my right hand.
