Now 15 weeks since I finished chemo and things are getting back to (new) normal.
I still have fingernail problems but there is (albeit slow) improvement which I expect to continue for a while yet. I'm pleased to say there have been no other noticeable side effects from HT and Darolutamide so all remains stable there for the time being.
My first routine 12 weekly blood test and follow up review is on 3rd February which will no doubt be the source of some anxiety, but we're distracting ourselves at the moment enjoying warm sunshine in Lanzarote until late January. I often wondered if I'd ever get to this point at times during my treatment but patience, luck and outstanding care by the whole medical team (and Mrs E of course) has paid off at last.
