Any one else out there?

Just wondered if anyone else been recommended vaginal brachytherapy when not recommended chemotherapy? I can not find any supporting research evidence for this and do not like the sound of brachytherapy unnecessarily? POLE mutation cancer c e l l imitates aggressive type 3 but is significantly less likely to recur? Anyone else have this situation? Xx

Hi Archie12759 and see it’s your first post so welcome to the Online Community but I am sorry to hear about your diagnoses.

The best way to ask specific questions to people who have the same cancer type and possibly had the sane experiences is join and post in our cancer specific groups as the Community is actually divided into dedicated support groups (discussion rooms) but do have a look through THIS LIST where you will find all our many dedicated cancer support groups listed…… find the group fir your cancer, join the group and put up your question.

I cannot comment on this therapy for your cancer but my husband had it for prostate cancer.This shrivels the prostate and it was very successful him.
