My friends Dad passed away this morning in a hospice of bowel cancer. I hope i am saying the right things, i think she is expecting me to say it get easier but for me so far it hasn't.....it has only gotten harder.

Really sorry to hear the sad news. You are a very caring friend and you will do/say the right things as they come from your heart.
Dear Vicki, you really are surrounded by a lot of grief at the moment - of course, there are no words that can heal such sadness, so if you are close to your friend, just cuddle her and be there for each other. You will both be able to share your grief together now and, if there is one ray of light in all this, you two will become truly close. I send my wish for peace to you both. Ann x
