Dad is in hospital now. This is all moving so fast that my head is just spinning!

Dad was taken into hospital last night due to him coughing up blood and apparently his white cells were up a little. We don't really know any more. his doctor will be round to see him today so hopefully we will know more then. I really hope it is not an infection cause we had it spelt out to us just how dangerous that could be! I am spending so much time worrying its hard to be positive. x

You are dealing with so much so fast, no wonder your head is spinning. It's a whole new language that you are learning now, it takes a while to get to grips with it.

Whenever my son ended up in hospital during his chemo treatment, I would always focus on the fact that he was in the right place to get the help he needed.

I hope the doctor has been able to reassure you and your dad is feeling more comfortable now.

Hang in there, you will be stronger than you would ever believe.
