Another First!

Less than one minute read time.

It is my daughters 5th birthday today and when the family all turn up at 6pm Dad isn't going to be with them. He was the present unpacker, the new toy player and the 'entertainer' and my children's parties.

I will be very aware that he is missing but hopefully Cerys won't be!
Lots of love to you all......

    Hi vicki,

Its very hard I know, it was my son's birthday last thursday he was 6 and also his first time without his daddy, I could not believe how such a special day could be so sad at the same time and cried loads that morning and even thought of not going to his party but what would that have solved he was not here to celebrate our sons birthday but would have done anything to be here.  So why should I have not gone when I am blessed to be able to share it with him no matter how hard it was I put a brave face and was there for him just like my husband would have wanted me to xxx A very happy birthday to Cerys and loads of love & hugs xxxx

Morning Vicki, well I hope you all survived the party without Dad - there's always going to be a big event where you will miss him, especially as he was such a hands-on Dad/Grandad.  I hope Cerys got lots of pressies and enjoyed herself - Birthdays are days for celebration and she was the special one yesterday.  Thinking of you Vicki and hope you can take one step at a time and make it a good one.  God bless, Ann x
