Poem

Less than one minute read time.
Hi everyone, I saw this posted on another forum and asked permission to put it here, which was given. Sadly this gentleman's wife passed away with Cancer last week and it was her funeral today. This was read out by a friend: May I share a short poem that we had read (I could not have done it myself). God saw you getting tired When a cure was not to be; So he closed His arms around you And whispered, "Come to Me." You didn't deserve what you went through, and so He gave you rest, Gods garden must be beautiful, He only takes the best. And when I saw you sleeping, So peaceful and free from pain, I could not wish you back to suffer that again I must admit it brought a tear to my eye but i thought how beautiful and appropriate it was too. Take care pheonix xxx
