Hi everyone, I'm back!! I have really missed being able to go on here and see how you were all doing. I had a quick look and saw that 5 pages have been filled since my last post so I will never be able to respond to everyone but my thoughts have been with you all.
The good news - my results are back and they are CLEAR!!!! The skin graft has taken 100% and the donor site is now ready for me to apply E45 cream twice a day. I still have to have dressings changed twice more in the next week on the graft but after that it should be ok. I am now able to put weight on it with the help of the crutches but should gradually be able to build up so as not to need them in a week or so. I am convinced it is down to all the healing, love, prayers and positive thoughts that have been sent to me from all over the world during all this so I just have to say a big THANK YOU to all those who contributed, all was gratefully received lol.
As for everything else I am still getting conflicting information re my treatment etc (so that at least has been consistant) and am still having problems re housing benefit/council tax benefit etc. But hey, life goes on!
I will be on here a bit longer now so look forward to 'seeing' you all again. Take care
