Saw the oncologist yesterday, lovely chap very jokey. Went through my treatment and side effects. Waiting to have my line put in, then start the chemo. Must say I'm scared. The enormity of it really hasn't hit me, I must be in denial, or just being positive.
I should be running the Great north run again next month, in fact my number came today!!!
Obviously that's a no no now, right in the middle of chemo. I emailed to pull out, citing medical reasons, but it's too late to get my entry fee back i didn't choose to get cancer, I was holding out thinking I would be ok to do it...but hey ho. Next year...and I'm planning to run the Loch ness marathon next year too.
More Waiting for the pics line to go in, then wait for the chemo to start.
Off to see the surgeon tomorrow too, more Waiting around i suppose.
