Well here we are 3 weeks through the next 4 week period before the next injections. Pat has been quite good and not sick at all apart from one episode and his Buccal tablets stopped it. They go between the gum and teeth and dissolve gradually. They were given by our GP and seem to work well. He still gets rather tired and short of breathe at times but is improved overall.
LIfe brings other peripheral challenges like the 5 " of snow that fell in the night, my injured foot and the fact that I had to take to my bed yesterday with the worst cold I have had for ages. This is all nothing compared to the Cancer but does affect my role as carer. Managed to drive down to the supermarket first thing yesterday wrapped up like a yeti and got supplies in. Then went straight under the duvet. I have registered for online shopping just in case and I also have good neighbours. Feeling better this am but now poor Pat has got it. He also has to have a tooth out on Wednesday if he is up to it. What fun life is.
Despite this I am looking out at the Winter Wonderland in our little garden here in Suffolk and the child in me is loving the snow. What a pity that man comes along and treads in it lol.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
