The final journey

Less than one minute read time.

Pat suffered a massive stroke last Thursday. He is in Hyperacute care in hospital. We have been told that all that can now be done, as Thrombolosis has not worked, is care for him palliativley on the unit.

Thank you everyone who is following this blog and have given me support.

    Hi Panda,

i've been following though not commenting, and want to let you know how sad I am that this has happened. I do hope the palliative care will make him comfortable. Look after yourself, won't you?

    Love & hugs,

    xxx

    Dear all,

Thank you so much for your messages of support.

Pat is comfortable and has been moved to the assessment part of the ward. I have already been told that the outcome looks poor and I am just taking one day at a time with the help of my lovely kids who are here and supporting me.

In a way circumstances may mean that Pat is spared going into terminal cancer with all it's difficulties.

    Panda.
