There is a SILVER lineing.

1 minute read time.
My darling husband passed away in july, he was at home and his passing was very peacefull. My family and friends have been fantastic, my daugthers took me away for a holiday, and my friends have taken me out and invited me to there homes , so i have such a lot to be gratefull for.and i think im very lucky to have such lovely family and friends. My laptop has not been working these past few days, so i have been useing a friends, i was hoping to get mine back this weekend, but im waiting for someone to set it up for me, what with having to pay out 69pounds for pcworld to amend it, i then had to pay 30pounds to have a disc to change my server, then 40pounds for a belkin disc, so i was feeling very fedup. I dont always do the lottery. but at the last minute on saturday i brought a lucky dip for 5pounds, and what do you think? while checking my lottery numbers this morning i had 4numbers up, and i had won 140pounds, the same ammount i had paid out for my laptop. I think my husbands looking after me, i couldnt have felt happier if i had won a million, isnt life funny sometimes. Love to you all,Patricia. xxxxxx

Hi Patricia - what can any of us do or say to lighten your load? I know you must still miss your husband terribly and yet you're blessed in having such a good family and in having close friends. Life can be so cruel at times, that I suppose we often wonder how on earth we'll cope with some of it's darker times - but we do, don't we? I don't doubt for a moment that your husband gave Lady Luck a wee nudge in your favour, with your welcome lottery win. Take care sweetheart, with love from       kate xxxxxxxxxx

You frequently don't get what you want, but somehow you nearly always get what you need.  It was the best thing, and no doubt he is looking after you.

I am sorry to read of the loss of your husband.

Your words are so true. There was a time when you may have thought "oh only 4 numbers" But life changes so quickly. It is good to be able to feel that your hubby was looking out for you. I am sure there will be many more situations  in the future just  like that one ,

I wish you all the best for the future,

    lots of love and hugs
