well i thought things would calm down a bit after mums funeral etc but my stepdad has now been sent to the local mental health hospital for a three week stay maybe longer after he had a breakdown following mums death .hes been outside his bungalow shouting that mum was stealing his car ,hes called police twice saying someone was in his bungalow and wouldnt leave .we know he has charles bonnet syndrome which causes hallucinations ,but the breakdown over mum was the last straw for him .the trouble is dad is a big man ,disabled and incontinent.they have no facilities for disabled people so have had to put him with young people who have had breakdowns through drug problems etc.we have tried to get him moved somewhere else but the nurses say although he shouldnt be there its all down to lack of money .i think at nearly 80 years old its a sad situation for someone who is still grieving the loss of his wife xxxxx
