When I was first diagnosed (in Oct 2006), my partner's boss sent me a huge bundle of print-outs about this wonder cancer - in fact EVERYTHING - cure.  After reading its pseudo-scientific nonsense, and the very dubious testimonials, I knew it was just one of those scams that the Americans market to try to milk cancer patients and other desperate people of their life savings.  I would say, unless they are sending you a FREE SAMPLE, you take it, and your doctor says that you are measurably better without having had any other treatment, I would leave it where it is.  I mean just the name Zeolite to me sounds like some sinister world-domination foundation in a James Bond film...

Sorry to pour cold water on this Taygus, but I have had several emails trying to scam me with a variety of 'Cure Cancer for Certain' with a variety of powders and potions, all stressing that I  MUST buy them from a specified website/company.  As it's been around for quite a few years now, and it hasn't become better known (ie there haven't been miraculous recoveries) I'd spend my money on (a)  healthy food and vitamins and (b)  having as flipping good time!  xxx Penny

With very best wishes  xxxx Penny

Don't worry I wouldn't dream of taking anything that I was not sure of....I don't even like taking pain killers!  Quite interested in the brocoli juice but it tasted awful, have to drown it in orange juice.  My poor stomach must wonder what's going on.

I bet that's really healthy but it must be a bit of an acquired taste!  I do like making brocolli soup, with onion, potato and Bouillon stock - used to put stilton in it too, but I'm trying to cut down on fats - however that does taste very nice.

I have started enjoying eating broccoli raw - wouldn't have thought about it, then a trendy bar near here started serving a "Superfood salad" with bits of raw brocolli, alfalfa, feta cheese and avocado.

I'm afraid I've got quite cavalier over painkillers.  I'm on 4 Zamadol a day (artificial opiates), but if that didn't deal effectively with the pain, I would take whatever got rid of it, as I find find being in pain depresses me.  I do understand though other people's concerns about getting addicted, and also about side-effects of long-term use of painkillers.  How are you Taygus?  I see you are doing a lot of research at the moment.  Hope the chemo is going as well as possible.  You are doing very well if you are managing to walk and cycle even if you're not hill-climbing (well, we can't all be Matt Embletons!). xxxx Penny
