With the Oxyplatin being reduced from 230 to 170 because of the concern over the possibility of vertigo causing central nervous system damage, I must admit it has left me feeling a lot less tired and slightly more energetic that the first. I stopped taking the cyclizine last Friday, to be able to assess, if possible whether it IS directly related to the chemo, or just a coincidental additional problem. I still cannot sleep horizontally, so spend all night propped up with a large amount of pillows, which seems to work quite well. I've seen my GP today, and he has given me a sheet - Brandt-Daroff exercise, which may help to minimise or even make the symptoms go away. All being well tomorrow, I will be going to a Christmas Lunch at the Golf Club, something I thought unachievable this time last week. Will start the exercises at the weekend, and let you all know how it goes.
