Happy 5th wedding anniversary to us! Last year we did richer for poorer with awful restructure/ redundancy rubbish, this year it's in sickness and in health. At least we are still forsaking all others!!!
All's ok here anyway. John has his second chemo on Thursday. It seems to have gone like the first one. He was fine on the actual day, groggy the day after, and awful the day after that. I'm expecting him to feel a bit better today and better still tomorrow and hopefully be firing on all cylinders after that! He's very impressive in his positivity anyway. I love how we still have a laugh, and he's still a great dad to the boys. I don't know what I was expecting but it's not been nearly as bad so far!
He has decided to go ahead with the BEACOPP.. We have talked about it till we are blue in the face and it's impossible to know what's for the best so he's just decided to go for it. Instead of stressing over unwanted choices and possible side effects, it's maybe better to look at it as a great opportunity to blast it even harder. He starts that on the 13th August. I'm not sure if i've mentioned how the cycles go, but it's a 3 week cycle. He will go for 3 days the first week, 1 day the second, and then have a week off. The consultant thinks he will need 5 to 6 cycles. Be nice if it was all done and dusted for christmas....
