Just a little postscript to my earlier post. I persuaded j to email the consultant, to ask about the blood results in relation to the favourable/unfavourable prognosis and to ask about relapses and beacopp. It wasn't difficult to track down his email address and I thought nothing ventured, it saves us all the agony of more consultation. Anyway joy of joys. A reply! And he is FAVOURABLE!!!! I don't know of it will influence his decision re beacopp, but strangely I feel less bothered. I know that he has gone from a 50% chance of 5 relapse free years to a 60 - 80% chance, the beacopp presumably would still add another 10%. This is the best bit of news we have had in 2 months. Hallelujah!!!
