It's Hodgkins Lymphoma and his MRI showed it is in his spine too. So grade 4. We had a hastily convened meeting with the haematologist afterwards where it was decided that he'll have a PET scan next week, a meeting with him again the week after to confirm plans and start chemo that week probably on the 17th July. He will have ADVB (may have got muddled with letters there) for 6 cycles - going to the hospital every fortnight for 6 months - so 12 visits, and then have radiotherapy afterwards to blast the lesion on the spine.
We were at the hospital for 7 hours and the news got worse and worse as the day went on. I feel pretty destroyed right now, and he looks dreadful. I guess we'll pick up and get ready to face it, but right now I'm a wobbly weepy jelly.
