It's that time again! But it's winter, and it's cold and my veins are even less likely to want to play ball. I got up on the morning of my infusion, dressed in multiple layers, armed myself with a hot water bottle and gloves, drank litres of water and the nurse still took two attempts to find a vein that would actually do the honours of not collapsing in a heap as soon as a needle went anywhere near it! I guess a 2nd attempt isn’t too bad really.
I've only one bone infusion to go…. And then what? I'm still on letrozole for another 5 years so suddenly my bones will be ok? I don't quite understand the medication protocols so one to add to the list next time I speak to the oncologist.
