25 days since surgery and I can finally say that the wound is really beginning to heal. It's taken much longer than I thought, although to be fair, I didn't give it a lot of thought. In my usual style, I just got on with it, with a little bit of information and not too much thinking.
The seroma is also reducing and less tender, so by the time I have my radiotherapy planning scan in 2 weeks we should be good to go! One of these days I will be able to turn over in bed without the discomfort waking me up, now that will be a milestone!
I am now officially on vacation rather than sick leave from work. I feel as if I could be back at work and we are off camping next week so it felt right to be using up some of my holiday allowance. Am looking forward to a proper break for a week, first holiday since this time last year.
