A day in the life of Wonder Woman.

1 minute read time.

Exhausted, danced today despite it. A full on weekend with my son. 60th birthday bash on Friday, did a bit of dancing. Saturday Opticians then long walk with my dog Merlin and family. Sunday walked around the harbour wall.

Hot flushes, knee killing me on Sundays walk.  But.... I kept going, my son wouldn't turn back so I had no choice. Nearly 6mths since my surgery. Follow up with Oncologist next week. I've read quite a bit of other peoples ailments and concerns about Aromatase inhibitors, I don't know what to think. Letrozole is the best one for my age and cancer type. I already have osteoporosis and osteoarthritis starting in my knees and wrists.

My best ploy is to forget it when I can some say, but it's hard with all the reminders. People really don't understand how it feels or the effect these meds have. So tired today, fatigued. Should have a rest for a couple of days but something stops me. Not FOMO but trying to catch up. 4 or 5 mths of doing little has taken its toll. Weight gain and loss of stamina and muscle tone to name a few.

Thank Goddess it's Summer or almost, love seeing the colour of flowers returning. Might dance or attempt to perform if I am up to it, it's Brighton Festival. At least I have a valid reason if I can't do it. It was interesting to hear how Bowel Babe did it, she would do one of her fabulous dances and then have to lie down for two days to recover. I'm 26 yrs older than her. Loved her moves and clothes, awesome woman. My dance teacher is such an amazing woman, love to be inspired.
