I feel quite humbled, today I was handed the results of my histopathology for the various lesions, cysts and gland. Those bits and pieces surgically removed 10 days ago.
Every specimen examined has the same bland statement attached
No evidence of malignancy is seen.
I did not think that I would find such information so moving, but hey I am only human.
Why did this thing baffle my medical team? Well according to initial enquiries my case is one of only 16 reported worldwide of a similar abnormality. The last one was found in a Korean male in 1999.
