after cancer treatment

1 minute read time.

Hello everyone, hope you are all fighting and taking each day as it comes.  I couldn't have FEC in 2007 as, after only one dose nearly died, so had radio. and 1 year on Herceptin.  Had left mastectomy and lymph nodes removed.  Anyway, my question is, does anyone suffer aches and pains as I take up to 8 co-codamol every day, plus tramadol, plus two lots of prozac just to get through the day.  Oh, and as I get terrible sweats and bad nights sleep I take a sleeping pill from time to time.  I also have bad lymphodema and suffer lots of neck/back pain.  I finished treatment of Herceptin in March this year - is there anyone out there still  having problems with aches and pains - I thought I would be like a spring lamb by now but feel like crap.  Wonder if this is normal and when I will finally feel well enough to lose some weight and get a life!!!  I keep thinking in the back of my head that maybe the cancer will come back as it was a Grade 3 rare aggressive type and I didn't havethe chemo.  Or maybe I'm just freaking out and need to stop having pain - perhaps it's all in my mind.  Does anyone else feel like this?  God bless you all.

Join the 'aches and pain club' we all seem to suffer with this chic. I thought treatment over, get back to how I was before WRONG! I work through my aching, creeking body pain with exercise, the move I move, the less it bothers me and also we do tend to worry that the cancer will return but I don't what happend to me rule my life, I enjoy it instead.....love carol x
