Have not been on here much lately, since chemo finished on 29th December have been trying to live a normal life and so far have been fine. We went on holiday to Barcelona last week and it was really good.Did not feel tired, walked miles and went clubbing, had lots of late nights, met nice people.The sun was shining and the sky was blue.Got my purse stolen as soon as I got there so had to make about 63 phone calls to various banks etc. Normally I would have been really upset about this but all I could think was 'if I was dead none of this would be happening"so I just felt really happy.I,m going back to work next week. Thanks to everyone on here for the support,I am not leaving but won,t be around so much.

Great news Julie, although sorry to read about your purse! Sadly Barcelona has a reputation for pick pockets. My friend who lives in Spain has been robbed TWICE when coming from the airport to the train station! I'm in a similar situation re getting the all clear and trying to get back to work and being 'normal'. I feel a bit of a fraud posting on here now lol!
Yes phoenix I met 2 other people who got robbed while I was there.Still other than that we had a great time. I know what you mean about feeling a fraud , my first day back at work is tomorrow and I'm really excited but also a bit nervous.
