for the attention of Odin and other hat-wearers

Less than one minute read time.

Here's my daft husband last year in his daft hat (with feather). The hat looks much more disreputable now. The offensive weapon in his hand is a walking stick he was given as a retirement present in 2008 (in case anyone was alarmed).

You say walking stick, I say mummified ferret ...

Dashed fetching hat, though. All small beasts should wear bows in their tails, and all men of a certain age should take to hats. The Gentleman Caller wears very fine hats in both his incarnations.

D'Artagnan's feather was much larger and showy. That one is nicely discreet, but neither Crocodile Dundee nor Huckleberry Finn would have worn a feather!

    Thanks Sue,

I don't feel so lonely now!

  • Hi Sue there is nothing like a disreputable looking hat it speaks of travels, adventures and having lived. The walking stick looks a bit of a lethal weapon something you could prod snakes with not that you would as this could make them very angry,or spear fish or even a very short clothes prop so I'm guessing it's a multi functional stick. The feather is quite discreet but where are the corks?I believe Odin intends to decorate his with corks so that will be a picture we all look forward to.
