because I can't think of anything helpful to say to Hilary (or anybody else!)

Less than one minute read time.

I can't imagine the horrendousness of having cancer myself. I can, of course, send hugs and love and hope this photo of my stepgrandson and Wee Dug searching for The Meaning Of LIfe makes somebody smile.

love to all my new mac family

Made me smile :)I'm with Cruton there...  It is too hard to know what to say sometimes even if you do have cancer!!  but just being sent a hug or knowing people are there and thinking about you is enough. In some ways I think its easier having it than caring for someone with it.

So, a big hug to you and can I have your dog?

ps I bet they found it. Cos kids and animals never lost the meaning of life in the first place... its us grown ups that have to find it again.....

Have to agree with all of the above, except having Wee Dug - don't think my nerves could stand having another Westie in the house.

    Hugs to everyone

Quite honestly, having cancer is like anything else: you get the news, you have a bit of a freakout, you get on with things. What else you gonna do? I won't say it's fun, and I do think - at the risk of people yelling at me, as they always do when I say this - that I've had it relatively easy.

Your photo made me smile! I would have been a very bad mother, but sometimes I do regret the lack of littlies in my life.

    Hi Sugreen,

That's a terrific shot, you should enter it in a competition! They say never work with animals or children but this works a treat!

    Thanks for that,

    love & hugs,
