Worst day in a long while

Less than one minute read time.

So 2 days after my operation and i find out that there is yet another bloody tumor in my spine.... wonderful! Fed up of feeling like a complete outsider, I just want my old life back! People say you know who your friends are once you have cancer- mine wasnt the boy who was suposed to be my closest friend. Joined here to try and see if I could make some friends - all be it online- and what do you know, again im the outsider. Never felt so damn c**p in a long while - with fake users in the chatroom and what not - is there really such a thing as a genuine person - just when you need to find someone to help you through the wonders of cancer and you think you've found the help - people just kick it out of you. woope

    Thanks everyone!

Think last night was just a bad night - feeling a bit better today (with the help of my mummy buying me a new pair of trousers! hehehe)

I think the blogs/forums on here are a little more usefull then the chatroom on here- the chatroom is a little to clicky for my liking I think (sorry if I offend someone)

Thanks for all your lovely messages!

    Love and hugs

    Ali

btw:-  did you know the longest human poop was 2 metres long!

    Hi rainbow,

It is an odd thing, telling people you have cancer. One person who I thought was a good friend literally shied away from me, and put her arms around her daughter as if to shield her from catching anything from me.

It hurts, and its not fair. I am lucky in that I have many colleagues in the NHS in which I have worked forever, who have more understanding of illness than most. But it is still not fair.

I, too, just want my old life back. I feel dreadful at the moment, at I haven't even had an operation!!

      Huge hugs from me,

    Ali   (Motherferret!!!)

P.S. Are there really people who just pretend they've got cancer in the chatrooms? How can you tell? Thats awful.
