Just a quick update this time. My wound is almost healed (it has only taken 3 months since the 2nd op!) My Portacath is being fitted on Thursday afternoon (but they haven't told me whether it is a local or general anaesthetic they will be using!!!) Several people have suggested that keeping a diary of what you experience on the cancer treatment journey is a good thing to do.... so I did. I started writing down all my experiences and the thoughts and feelings that went along with them. Then my hard drive crashed and I lost the lot!
