The human body is a highly complex machine which man is unable to understand or create yet. The way it functions is amazing. The heart is most efficient mechanical pump which works incessantly, the brain is a super computer with immense capacity, the nervous system fastest communication network . Man is yet to learn how to make one. The mind is man’s faculty of thinking, reasoning, and applying knowledge and manifested through man’s thoughts, actions, emotion, will, memory, and imagination. The soul is the spiritual nature of humankind. It is difficult to define mind and soul and there are other terms like life, heart,spirit.
When you come out of the womb and take the first breath you are complete and the soul leaves when you leave this world. When you die, your lifeless body is referred as dead body, even by your close ones. We can consider the body as a type of vehicle for the soul to exist in this world. Your body is made from earthly things and it returns to earth. Where does the soul go? No one has a clear cut answer but majority believe it goes to the creator or some believe it make another round!!
If I ask you who is the closest person in this world it ultimately comes to your own body which is there with you 24/7 from birth to death and no one else can match that! We take a lot of effort to keep it healthy, fit and beautiful. Most of us are having a car and driving it. It doesn’t have a soul (modern cars are having a computer chip!!) but you are the one controlling it. You have to maintain it, service it, and repair it. Sometimes you may have problems but you may be able to drive it or take it to the mechanic. Our body is also same and its mechanic is the doctor!! So there is no doubt you have to look after your body well. Sometimes problems do come and we have to treat, cut and repair ( surgery) or replace some part (transplantation). Some repairs to the car you can do DIY ( do it yourself). But here ends the simile. Your Mind or Soul can do much more than that. Modern science has recognized many endorphins and hormones produced by the body which can heal your body by itself. (like tire sealants to self-seal a puncture!) So if you can stimulate production of these or others (which we are not aware yet) may be able to heal our sickness and diseases. Serotonin is a hormone produced by body, which controls the mood and lack of it can end up in depression. We all know that when we don’t effectively deal with a painful situation we may go into some state of depression.
I am sure you have heard about telepathy and telekinesis. The power of mind is enormous and if you can focus you may be able to use this power to even heal your body. There are many things which we don’t understand. I believe Soul or life as a divine particle installed in our body with our first breath and it makes the body alive. When the soul leaves the body it dies or decays. This particle has tremendous powers as it is divine but we don’t know how to use it. A few are able to do so to some extent and we see miracles and wonders. I remember when I was working in ICUs some patients which we thought are not going to make it, as per our science, coming out miraculously against all odds and others vice versa. Now I believe there are many things beyond modern science.
My main aim for this post is to convince you that modern science is not the last word about your life in this world. You may be having different types of cancers in different stages and undergoing treatment or otherwise and doctors might say there is nothing much they can do but there are many things which can happen to you. You can make it happen with a stimulating your mind and little faith in God. Try to find out and rekindle the Divine particle in you and heal your body and make a testimony for others. Jesus said “If you have little faith in you ask this mountain to move and it will move”.
Do have faith, stimulate your body to heal you and lead a normal blessed life, Life is still young and beautiful and there are many things for you to accomplish in this world before you leave here.
