    In may 2004 my husband arrived back from a week away at work, he felt tired and thought he may have picked up a cold.

    Briefly within a week he was in hospital with septacaemia thought to have come from untreated and nasty bout of athletes foot!

    During routine blood tests alarm bells rang when some unusual results came through.

    Again briefly but a few weeks later he had a scintagraphie and was diagnosed with neuro endocrine…
