I was sick as a pig after my first carbo - though later ones no sickness when they changed the sickness meds.

Best to judge how you feel at the time.

Hi Netty, I didn't have the same chemo as you, but I don't remember having too many severe side effects. Any side effects I did experience started a few days after chemo.

Everyone is different, so, obviously nobody can say how you will be, but I hope you find it ok and can go out and enjoy your night.

    Best wishes, Christine xx

I was always very tired the night following chemo but you will just have to see what you feel like.  You werent specific in you post but I probably wouldnt drink any alcohol as your liver will have had a beating with the chemo.  Everyone is so different but why dont you say you will go for now so you have something to look forward to then see how you feel. Good luck xx
