    Hi

I had 4 EC and 3 Docetaxol for my chemo treatment for breast cancer. After receiving my first treatment I would have been able to go out that evening but everyone reacts differently so its difficult to say. I never suffered vomiting just nausea but this usually started a few days after each treatment.

Wishing you well with your treatment.

    Regards Maxine

I couldn't have gone out the night of my first chemo as I was so sore from the cancer. BUT, I could have gone out the next day because I had not felt so well for months - all of my pains were gone.

Carboplatin and Etoposide. No nausea. After about 2 days I started to feel the effects of the chemo and then I just wanted to hide away from everyone!!

    HI Netty,

I had three cycles of FEC100 and three of Docetaxel and felt ok on the day of the FEC, just a little tired.  But each cycle was different.  Go with your plans and see how you feel only you will know if you feel well enough.  Best wishes as you start your treatment.

    Gentle hugs Alex x
