Here I am again - a jibbering idiot.
Very scared and frightened about Monday. Op planned for Monday 24th August - both breasts.
Hate hospitals , frightened of needles and I woke last night in a hot sweat - thinking I am sure they have not told me everything and that they know more than I do.
I feel they that see me as a very anxious person and therefore they have opted no tto tell me everything. My breast care nurse is now on holiday for two weeks as well.
No one seems to give me any positive feedback - may be they can't in case they get sued.
I am definitely a very sad Negative Nellie today.

Aw Nellie Im sorry that you are so scared, but its an emotion that we all go through im sure, along with all the other emotions that we go through. Sadness, Anger, Fright, to name a few.
I hope all goes well for you on Monday & I know its a word we all get fed up of hearing , but think positive & fight on, we are all worth fighting for. I will think of you on monday if you think of me on Wednesday. Right then thats a deal. XX Love Lyn.
We all let our imaginations do overtime before surgery because we don't KNOW what's going to happen. It is rarely as bad as you think it will be so don't get your knickers in the proverbial twist! It does get easier to deal with once you're past that first hurdle and you have a proper treatment plan in place. I'll be thinking of you on Monday and sending positive thoughts.
for Monday, Nellie. Have a read of Andrew's blog (I know there will be loads of others too!) or speak to Debs - most people feel very like you do today but there'll come a point on Monday where events will just take over and then you'll wake up!
I tried to send you a message but it wouldn`t work..ive had alot of computer problems this week and especially today.
I am sure your Drs are not keeping anything from you..When my sister was ill I found it impossible to get them to listen to me when she wanted me to be told and not her, she always said she didn`t want to know anything but sometimes they were brutally honest, I am sure they are not keeping anything from you.
I shall try and mail you again later ..honestly this computer is awful today, i keep getting cut off the internet and can`t log out of here so it looks like im on line when im not!! lol
Good luck on monday ..try not to worry..i was very scared about my op 2..i asked them to make sure i was under properly...that was my main fear..lol.n he said...dont worry..il make sure ur asleep n il make sure u wake up too..n god bless him he did..i remember him saying...ur going asleep now Sharon..n in what seemed like the click of a finger..they were saying...wake up Sharon...ur ops over...it was amazing..
The op...to me anyway...was the worst hurdle..as Kate says...fear of the unknown...once that is over you know your back in control...im sure no-one is hiding anything from you...every one is anxious when they get cancer...they understand that...its natural...
