just found out about 6 weeks ago that my mum has lung cancer, im so
sad for her, my dad is finding it very hard looking after her, we live
2 hours away and it hard for us as well, i dont think mum has long
left, shes at home and on oxygen now, she has lost so much wait and
finding very hard to walk, my mum is 72 and dad is 73, my dad has
leukemia , the leukemia my dads got is under control with tablets, but
still finding it very hard,

Hi Geoff

Sorry to hear your news. I was in a similar position (90 minutes away) and I can appreciate how hard it is for you. Does your Mum have a MacMillan nurse? Our lovely lady arranged all sorts of help for us.

Hello Geoff,

I'm sorry to hear about your parents and I know how hard it is to live so far away from them.

As Val says contact the McMillan nurses they are fantastic and just this last week have helped me and my husband a lot this last week, I thought form filling was no problem for me but was I wrong so give them a call and take all the help they can give.

Will be thinking of you, keep blogging and let us know how you're doing.
