Well here i am writing again another post about how i am, here's a question how are you all ? I never really ask that. My goodness 2010 a new year and the third session of chemo begins on monday ( a new reason to the love the song i don't like mondays, another weekend of anxiousness will i have it or will i not) went on thursday for my meeting with my brilliant consultant who announced i have to wait to hear if i can have my treatment on monday as my blood count is low ! anyone had this problem during in chemo and if so anyone know what happens to rectify this , he has spoke about some form of injection after the chemo. I may change my handle soon to the pin cushion queen all these injections and all these bloods least i don't get scared of needles anymore lol ...
Back to christmas it flew myself and my son had a great relaxing day of just eating and drinking vast amounts of tea and juice, eating a lovely dinner and biscuits and cake...... and present well at least the bin looks nice and shiny in side, but it was all the family about that was lovely, new year it was another chilled one we watched the coco before chanel film which was nice and then had an early night being woken by the fireworks of the neighbours at twelve but back to sleep and new years day had another chilled one and had my sister and her grandson and husband around, i made a great tea of stew for me and my son simon, which was perfect considering the snow falling lightly outside.
On thursday i went for my pre assesment with my lovely consultant and he was pleased with me and that although my bloods are low , i told him about my tests for a suspected stroke which i am glad to say i did not have and was relievedto hear though do have high cholesterol which is a bummer but my consultant said he was not concerned about this at least if i keep taking the tablets......
so for now guys and gals i shall wish you all a happy new year and here's to a much better one eh also if anoynoe else has been told they have high cholesterol after having chemo please drop me a line
Please keep the comments coming as they do mean a lot to me
hugs and kisses from wendy
