to much

Less than one minute read time.

Hey guys,

not sure if I have done to much now, am soo tired and think I have a cold or manflu on the way, am trying to shake it off with paracetemols, is there anything stronger I can take to get rid of it or shake it off, does anyone know if this or when this chemo does come out od the body, its starting to p me off now I really need to get back to 'normal-ish' if only a little at a time.

sorry not been in touch recently, had loads of things on my mind, another close friend has been diagnosed with bowel cancer and going through chemotherapy second op this week, and they are not sure if she also has leakimia, am so gutted at the moment shes only 26 years old. I cant afford to visit her at the moment in case I cause an infection with this 'man flu' or cold.

will keep you updated guys, promise

Mark

    Hi Mark,

Sorry to hear about the man flu, according to my husband, man flu is the worst thing in the world. I have my suspicions that he may be exaggerating. Don't forget to keep an eye on your temperature and if it goes up or down a few degrees to get in touch with the hospital, you're at Christies aren't you? Chemo wipes out your immune system so infections can take hold and become serious very fast. Chances are it'll be something and nothing but do keep an eye on things and if you start to feel really rough, call the Christies hotline. I hope your friend gets through her operation alright and it doesn't turn out to be leukemia, poor lass, 26 is very young. Take care of yourself, love Vikki x
