Sore Head

Hi there, i've just finished a 24 week  cycle of taxol. Although i had cold cap treatment i still lost quite a bit of my hair and experienced exactly the same sort of tenderness you describe. The scalp feels very sore to the touch and sometimes throbs a bit. The soreness has now subsided now that i've finished my treatment and i'm sure it will for you too. Sending hugs Gill xxxx

Ditto the same as for chrissiQx2 even tho I had my hair cut into a small boys haircut when it started coming out my head felt fizzy, tingly like I'd used a tangy shampoo!! I then had my head shaved and didn't feel that same feeling after that.  Now my hair has started to grow back its like baby hair but I didn't experience any tingly sensation.  Best of luck with your the rest of your treatment. x

Thanks I am gonna shave it off tonite.  I wore a bandana hairband today and it helped a little  but I think  its time to accept its gotta come off before my pope hole gets bigger. lol x
