Dad went to have a stent fitted in his oesphagus yesterday but after an hour came back out and they said they couldn't do it as the cancer had now spread 70% of his stomache my whole world has been turned upside down yet again hence why I haven't been on chat for a while, I'm struggling with it even more now, they fitted a food tube (don't know the proper name for it) while he was out but when he woke up dad told them to remove it cos he never wanted it, they said they were going to build him up on it so we would hopefully get to keep him for christmas there doubtfull we will have him for christmas,I don't want my dad to gain his wings yet .......
oh you poor love, hearing news like that is awful any time of the year but at christmastime it just seems even worse. i am so sorry for what you and your family are going through, and i wish there was something i could say to make it better.
i know your heart is breaking, but just spend as much time as possible with your dad, tell him 100 times all the things you want to say, and simply give him all your love.
