Well, what a to do!

1 minute read time.

My legs have almost recovered from the Cellulitis with the help of Amoxicillin 500, I take the last one on Tuesday (23rd)

Today I got a an appointment letter to have my legs scanned 'US Doppler Veins' whatever that means. Something to do with DVT which I'm sure I don't have. My husband has it, so I know what it is like.

I've also contacted my BCN about the lump and tenderness in my right breast. Like everyone else, she seems to think it is probably a cyst. I hope so.

Apart from that, I'm feeling ok. My hair is growing nicely now and my eyebrows are almost back to normal. Unfortunately, so is my 'moustache'!! But, I lost two more toenails this morning. That is such a weird feeling.

I am HATING this really hot weather. I'm definitely a cold weather person and long for autumn and winter - as long as we don't have snow and ice!!!

Watching the British Open Golf tournament and also keeping an ear on the Ashes. I'm not really a sport lover, but I do enjoy watching golf. I like listening to cricket on the radio, especially Test cricket.

New Appointment

I have an appointment on Monday morning at the Nottingham Breast Institute for a triple assessment. I feel sick at the thought it might be cancer again! I only finished chemo in May!! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that none of them are (there are 3) cancerous. god willing.

NOT CANCER PHEW!!!

I had an ultra sound on Monday 31st July. No lumps, just normal breast tissue. The tenderness and pain is caused by Costochondritis, caused by inflammation in some of the ribs, that can cause pain the the breast. Sadly, one of my friends (she had chemo at the same time as I did) has just been diagnosed with a new primary and has to have more chemo. Can't help thinking that could have been me.
