It feels rather odd today. It is three weeks since my last chemo session, and usually I would be at the oncology clinic having my blood test in preparation for Thursday's session. So the fact that I don't have to go to see the oncologist, or have a blood test, feels odd.
I don't have to see my oncologist until 16th July, but before that I have to go to the Bone Denistometry Department on 26th June, to have:
Bone Densitometry Lumbar Spine
Bone mineral densitometry hip Lt
DXA Vertebral morphometry
This will give them a basic idea of how dense my bones are before I start Anastrazole, as one of the side effects is that it MIGHT cause Osteoporosis. As I have Reumatoid Arthritis, I am high risk anyway. Also, my mum and grandma both had it too.
