So December 21 appointment to see the Anaesthetist, they not happy, surgery cancelled
Dec 29th I had a bleeper inserted , hurt but wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be..
Jan10th back to see Anaesthetist agin, they happy to go ahead with surgery in a different hospital
Jan 11th had my radioactive injection, didn’t have a panic attack or pass out! GoMe!!
jan 12 day of surgery
I was ver surprised with myself that I wasn’t that nervous, or It could have been I was just glad to get rid of it.
Everything went like clockwork, didn’t have time to think really, covid test, then nurse came around then the anaesthetic , the surgeon,
then down to theatre, sleeping before I could count to ten and home by late afternoon.
it been 3 days since I had surgery, I’m I like sore but listening to my nurses taking painkillers and resting
im got to go back in February to get my result , with hope they got it all and the next plan of action, whatever it my be
i will stay strong and keep fighting every step of the way..
