So today I went to see my surgeon and his nurses,
After the 4th of Feb my surgery went from drawing on me to shaving me to theatre, it didn’t happen , The surgeon decided at last minute that I’d prefer to go down a route that didn’t require a stoma and all that goes with such surgery.
I was offered something called TEMS, and the trial called Star Trec, My response was “I’m no Captain Kirk but I’m willing to boldly go where not many have gone before”
They said 200 have had said procedure and only 8 have had to revert back to original surgery. I’m no Neil Armstrong but more a pilgrim father. I requested a badge saying pioneer No.201
Today they confirmed and I agreed to have the procedure,
a computer decided short procedure or long.. the computer said long.
Radiotherapy / Chemotherapy (via pills) / then cancer removed via
they say 8 to 10 weeks.
I should get confirmation next week when it all gets going.
wish me luck guys.
I’ve got this.
