I actually wrote this 2 weeks ago but forgot to post it. When I listen to other people's side effects and problems I think I'm doing quite well. I just hope the treatment is working! I've got very little hair left if that's anything to go by but am now quite used to wearing turbans and scarves. My weeks have now settled into a routine. The worst days are the ones when I have the immunity boosting injections. I feel achy and by 8 o'clock I'm really tired ready for bed but have trouble sleeping! Lying awake at night is so unsettling and I worry about everything. When I start to get upset my tummy is all over the place so more meds to settle it! Today I've had my 6th chemo treatment and all went well. All my blood results were fine. Mostly I'm feeling really optimistic and think about all the things we'll do when I'm better. Our family and friends have been fantastic and we see them whenever possible. Two weeks ago we went to our 3 year old granddaughters christening. The first time I've really dressed up for weeks. Everyone thought my wig looked great. Much easier to maintain than my hair! We had a lovely afternoon, lovely memories!
