Well mum goes into hospital tomorrow. She has been great up until today but was very weepy today - understandably so.
She isn't afraid of the operation to remove the rest of her lymph nodes but of the results approx a week later, which we are all dreading.
How will we cope if she gets bad results - it will be so hard not to break down in front of her and this will not make her feel any better.
I have been practising in my head how I will deal with bad news but as you know nothing prepared you for the real thing.
My husband is away with work today for a week so it is going to be mad trying to get the kids organised going to the hospital. Mum says not to worry about going to see her but I just could not go, Seeing her helps me as much as it helps her IYKWIM.
Right better sign off and get dinner on.
Kate xx
