latest on mum

1 minute read time.

mum has been in hospice at local hospital for a week ,they trying to sort out meds, her appetite etc,,,, she now got a chest infection and they going to try and sort that out and if she gets over it then they are going to try and sort her breathing

the hosoice have said that she is to be in there for at least two weeks, i am going up to see her on wednesday for a couple of days and then back up there on 25th oct

the way things are going she won't be going home she will be going into a nursing home, she needs way more care than we can supply, two of us do not live local and we are all (me and two sisters) having a meeting on thursday it will be the first time we will have been together for 8 years

and social services have said that they can get her into a home se o that will be discussed

i don't know if i am imagining it but all my disfunctional family seem to be going to visit her and i don't think she going to be around much longer

will update later xxxx

mum has now said to sister yesterday that she wants to stay in the hospice

but then today has said she wants to go into home

so sister going to see social worker tomorow and see what we can do

but it is definitely decided she cannot go home so we will have the job of sorting all her personal stuff

we will all be taking stuff of hers that if she changes her mind again and wants to go into the home she can and we will still have all her bits and bobs to put in her room

we were told she could stay in the hospice if she wants

    Nannydi,

I'm really sorry to hear about your dear mums passing.  Please accept my sincere condolences and I'm glad she was comfortable and painfree.  You did your best for her and she would have been proud of you for that.

    With love Reneesha xx
