Mom has been to the chemo unit today to discuss treatment plan. It will start on Thursday and she is going to have Gemcarbo. We are so proud of how she is coping and I know she is worried and not finding it easy but she is not falling apart and letting this beat her just yet. My sister took mom today and said it was really emotional seeing everyone in the unit having their treatment.
I don't know if it is the fact that we now know mom has cancer but she suddenly looks much older and drawn and so tired. I just want to scoop her up and hide her away somewhere I can keep her safe. I feel helpless that I can not do more.
We are with you every step mom just keep putting one foot in front of the other as you are. I love you xxxx
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
